The E31 Series Split-Core Panelboard Monitoring System provides a solution for electrical load management, ideal for retro-fit applications for dynamic loads, such as the data storage industry, lighting panels, etc. The adapter boards can be mounted on either DIN Rail or Snaptrack for added flexibility.

The E31B kits with Intermediate functionality monitor voltage, current, power and energy consumption in the mains along with voltage and current in the branches in a panelboard. The accumulated information can be transmitted through the communications interface. Data updates occur roughly every two seconds to provide timely preventative maintenance information. As any circuit approaches the user-configured thresholds, alarm indicators are triggered, preventing costly downtime from overloaded circuits or failed loads.

Every E31B42 kit includes an Intermediate main circuit board, two CT adapter boards, two 4 ft round ribbon cables CBL022 and 42 ea 50 A split-core CTs (E31CT0) to monitor up to 42 branch circuits, two 3-phase mains and two neutrals. Both flat and round ribbon cables in various lengths are available for use with this product to fulfill your application needs (see CBL). CTs for monitoring mains and neutrals are sold separately (see H681x-xxxA-.3V). Up to two more adapter boards, ribbon cables and 50 A, 100 A, and 200 A CTs can be added to monitor additional circuits.
