The E31 Series Split-Core Panelboard Monitoring System provides a solution for electrical load management, ideal for retro-fit applications for dynamic loads, such as the data storage industry, lighting panels, etc. The adapter boards can be mounted on either DIN Rail or Snaptrack for added flexibility.

The E31AY63 kit with Advanced functionality monitors voltage, current, power and energy consumption of each circuit in a panelboard including the main breaker. The accumulated information can be transmitted through the communications interface. Data updates occur roughly every two seconds to provide timely preventative maintenance information. As any circuit approaches the user-configured thresholds, alarm indicators are triggered, preventing costly downtime from overloaded circuits or failed loads.

Every E31AY63 kit includes an Advanced[Intermediate/Basic] main circuit board and two CT adapter boards to monitor up to 42 branch circuits, two 3-phase mains and two neutrals. The main board and adapter boards are mounted on a single bracket and connected with flat ribbon cables. 50 A, 100 A and 200 A CTs are sold separately (see E31CT).
